I had a very disappointing experience with this doctor and feel it is important to share it to help others make an informed decision.

Around four months ago, I was diagnosed with a kidney stone in my upper ureter. An ultrasound suggested the stone was approximately 10.55 mm. After reviewing the reports and an X-ray, the doctor immediately recommended surgery (RIRS/URS) and quoted a cost of around ₹1 lakh. When I mentioned that I wanted to get a CT scan for confirmation, I was told it was unnecessary.

Despite this, I went ahead and got a CT scan, which clearly showed the stone to be 6.55 mm. I have receipts and reports to prove all my visits and investigations. What shocked me most was that the doctor outright dismissed the CT scan results, stating he did not believe them and instead relied on the X-ray, claiming the stone was 1 cm based on a comparison with vertebrae size. This reasoning is completely incorrect. A CT scan is a 3D investigation and provides accurate details regarding the stone’s exact size, location, and dimensions.

To be absolutely certain, I underwent another CT scan in December, which again reported the stone at the same size, though it had moved to the lower ureter. Despite this consistency, the doctor continued to push for surgery without justification.

Eventually, the stone passed naturally last week without any surgical intervention.

I am writing this review to warn others. Based on my experience, I felt pressured toward an unnecessary procedure while accurate diagnostic reports were ignored. Please be cautious, seek second opinions, and do not hesitate to verify findings independently.

I am willing to provide reports, CT scans, X-rays, and proof if required.
